“Spiritual Sundays-Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace” Makin’ a Joyful New Orleans Jazz Revival Noise with Matt Lemmler Live from New Orleans Sundays 6:30pm

These online and “In the Neighborhood” shows are offered in hopes of calming, healing, and soothing to all that listen and to all of us hopefully working on loving ourselves, loving our community and loving the world through community and service and from the gift of music and song. Sounds of Comfort & Joy!

To all my New Orleans and world family, please keep the Faith, keep Hope and keep Live Music alive always. Be healthy, safe and loving to yourself and to your neighbors.

I’m so proud to be from the City of New Orleans. It is an honor and privilege to carry on and share our New Orleans music, culture and heritage! My ancestors came to settle here in the mid 1700’s. They were from Canary islands, France, Acadian heritage, and many other places and I’m proud to be here to share our history.. Our beautiful city, along with the world, is somewhat on hold and trying to heal through these distractive time. Our precious New Orleans culture and music still exists, although on exile at times, and will always be in our hearts and souls.

Even though we have another year/season of canceled music/culture and heritage festivals, I always remember the encouraging and visionary words of the great spirit and Snug Harbor master, George Brumat, right after our failing of our federal levees in 2005

“Fear not Brothers and Sisters….”Jazz City” will swing again…Peace! “Snug Harbor”” George Brumat 2005

As always, please feel free to request any song you’d wish for us to sing/play for you. Live straight to your home/office/pad/apartment/phone!

Thanks Brenda and Lance at Lafargue Pianos for the beautiful instrument. www.lafarguepianos.com

Thanks Jude Leblanc and Dan Caro #livehot for the beautiful sound. Miles Lemmler for all the back ground help, and Tara Lirette for all the Love and Support.

Please come join me and share with others. Be safe everyone and hope to see you in person real soon. Love and Happy Trails, Matt

Matt Lemmler’s “New Orleans in Stride”
“It’s nostalgic, it’s funny, it’s educational, it’s animated, it’s inspirational, it’s multimedia, it’s music, and mostly...it’s New Orleans!
Highly recommend this show with Matt Lemmler @nolajazzrevival and the gang. A real throwback to see live music accompanying a movie theater production.”
